That is a huge pool of international trade incentives by almost every government and so every participant could agree to pool their ideas into one entry and split the prize to create a startup multinational corporation and
cash in on the government international trade incentives multipoint to multipoint.

It’s also a very equal way of giving the prize out as you would have to factor how others influenced the winning idea otherwise and cut those contributors in somehow. Dispense with that fuss and collect some government money from every government. It’s like reverse taxes. And it’s totally beneficial to the general welfare of society.

For those areas that are not on the map, I’m sure some nice people will put into a pool something useful to those areas. Bill Gates and Warren Buffett are doing it.

Now what?

I do not know how many know this so I’ll add some bits. To make it easy, the basic definition of “illegal” in business terms is anything that is detrimental (bad) for the general welfare of society.

That is a very useful definition in understanding how the new laws – which I admit I have not had time to look at – may impact society in positive and negative ways.

The Uniform Commercial Code 1-205
“Course of dealing and usage of trade. A course of dealing is a sequence of previous conduct between the parties to a transaction which is fairly to be regarded as establishing a common basis of understanding for interpreting their expressions and other conduct”

And there is precedent in court cases of the 1960s ample to realize. That fine print does not lead to a common basis of understanding as it favors those educated in such jargon and who have the patience to read small letters.

In such cases signed contracts may be nullified as “unconscionable” not fair in other words. All those extra charges and fees that show up on your bill – any deception or hidden terms can be dismissed in court by demonstrating that whatever those terms are – were not made clear to me at time of signing.

And it should put the burden of proof on the other side to show the court how they figured that you understood those charges would be in the fine print and why they assumed you would understand the jargon if you even bothered to read it.

If you sign, it may be wise to write down the terms as you understand and have the other side sign and date along with yourself that you both agree your understanding is correct.

And that small signed paper I think is all you need to show the court. Because that paper becomes the contract. Yeah, you have the right to submit a counter proposal.
So itemize the terms as you understand them, ask if it your understanding is correct or have them explain what is not. By them signing That is the real contract.

And so I lay claim to any and all powers granted me by Amendment X which all powers not delegated to Congress or the States are reserved for the people – to use these powers only for the defense of the Constitution as my duty demands – and to recognize only the Authority of Federal Agents who have taken the same oath. And a 501c3 has more restrictive ethical requirements so lets do that (not to mention the tax exemption – which allows tax money to be spent by the people for the people rather than line some lobbyists pocket). We can also give others (individuals and organizations) tax write offs for donations as icing on the cake. .

Only those that by force oppose our action to restore equality and justice as in “WE THE PEOPLE IN ORDER TO FORM A MORE PERFECT UNION” are enemies and any individual or nation is our friend as we shall do our best to help the people live under the same standards and protections and freedoms that we do. You are our friends and we shall gladly work any compromise until mutual consent is had. We shall respect the traditions of each individual or culture as such is the right to freedom of expression at the very minimum.

According to Amendment X, no mention of official recognition seems required; still as a gesture of respect we do (and the we unless anyone else sides so far consists of my bicameral mind – aka Julien Jaynes – still combine that with my ADHD and you should get the bare minimum conscious entities requried) request some form of official recognition and would appreciate some directions from honorable Federal authorities (the honorable and ethical ones that is)

It may occur to some why I am doing this and what my motives really are so I shall explain them and on my Mother’s grave I give my word this is true:

My Mother was born in Shanghai in 1927. She lived through occupied WWII as a child. She had every reason to resent the world and most people. Yet she became to most friendly, and loved person imaginable.

My aunt who remained in China after my mother left in 1947 stayed on to join the anti communist faction – must have had some gut feeling what would happen.
She had a year earlier taken the national University exams and tied with another man for the highest score in the entire country of China. Smart woman. And due to her anti- communist activities she was denied attending University.(my mother never said explicitly, but she may have been executed)

My mother went through two fertility treatments and they both failed. She was surprised I was born and always used to think I was some reincarnation of her sister (my aunt). I mean she would look at me for a while and then say those words. In my culture it is true. So this is to fulfill her potential that was wasted by totalitarian rule.

I.
Music is a powerful memory aid, why else do advertisers seek out a catchy jingle to associate with a brand? Everyone likely has had a tune stuck in their head at one time. You are not hearing anything, your mind remembers and plays the melody internally.
Few people know the title of the 1955 Warner Brother’s cartoon is “Another Froggy Evening”, perhaps some remember the dancing and singing frog episode. But hum the melody to “Hello ma Baby” and most people who have seen it will remember what you refer to.

Perhaps this material is out of date, yet such does not render the concept invalid. It means we should teach it again if it has been allowed to slide.

II.
I recall as a kid learning the major scale by the little jingle for do, re, me, fa, so, la, te, do. The one that starts with the root note “do a deer, a female deer”, remember? And the other notes are likewise covered. If you learned it, it sticks in your head, even decades later.

This is a guide on using that jingle to teach music to kids especially. It assumes the instructor is familiar with the basic theory concepts presented. It is presented as a means for you, the instructor, to use creatively where needed. I will begin with an explanation of how important the major scale is. Then present some examples how the jingle can be employed. Be aware that this is not meant to substitute for an understanding of half steps, whole steps, and the rest of traditional theory. It is an aid to helping students understand those concepts.

Western music is based on the major scale. do, re, me, fa, so, la, te, do. Sharps and flats in the context of scales and chords are based on that note relative to the major scale reference. A flat 3rd is the 3rd note of the major scale down one half step. A flat 7th is the seventh note of the major scale down one half step. A #5 is the fifth note of the major scale up one half step.

Chords are based on the notes of the major scale, modes are the notes of the major scale played from a non root position up one octave. Of course this is a simplified description but it is a fundamental concept that should be understood before explaining the superlocrian scale is the 7th mode of the melodic minor scale. Once this basic principle is grasped thoroughly, then one can use the same principles to explain the superlocrian scale is a root, b2, #2, 3, #4, b6, b7. Even if you don’t know what this is, that notation makes it easy to play, the major scale, flat the 2, #the 2, major 3rd as normal, # the 4, flat the 6, flat the 7th. Notice how there is no 5 shown. Does it matter? Perhaps if you wish to be technical; but in playing just think major scale and alter the notes as shown.

Jazz, the most complex form of western musical fusion is still based on the major scale. A standard “IIm V7 I” progression is the harmonized 2nd note of the major scale, harmonized 5th note of the major scale, back to the harmonized root note of the major scale. Soloing over a II V I you start with the Dorian mode on the II, the Mixolydian mode over the V, and the Ionian or major scale over the I. But you are just playing the major scale each time, emphasizing a different tonal center: the 2 the 5 and back to 1.

I hope that was enough to convince you how important the major scale is as a fundamental building block required for learning more complex aspects of music.

IV.
I shall present some examples that should be seen as ideas to draw upon rather than entrenched principles.
It is convenient that there is a catchy jingle, do, re, me, fa, so, la, te, do – for the major scale. It used to be widely taught.

If someone looks at you questioningly when you say the 6th, ‘la’, do re me fa so la, aids understanding what you refer to.

So, using one of the words along with the correct theory term: the 6th ‘la’ can be a useful tool in both getting your point across and in the student’s long term recall. Now that the 6th is associated with ‘la’ and remembering the jingle in your head,
“when it sounds like ‘la’ it means i’ve found or am playing correctly the 6th”

V.
This jingle references position and sound. If someone plays the 3rd by mistake instead of the second,

helps the student learn the second is a whole step down from the third. Once the jingle is stuck in your head, you have a reference for the entire major scale.

Vi.
What is minor? We all know it’s a flat 3rd. But that means we know what a 3rd is beforehand. When you are starting out, you don’t know this. So minor can be explained as “go do re me, then play me one fret or one key down”

It’s a flat me.

Let’s take a closer look. By counting you are showing what note it is,

from the jingle, it’s easy to remember what the note is and sounds like

VII
Remember it is your job as an instructor to get to know each student personally and figure out what works best for each. So again I point out these examples are meant to serve as ideas to play with in helping individual students with different learning styles. They are not fixed in stone. If you are jazz trained, you understand how to improvise. This is improvising with the meaning of words which the jingle has defined, and finding out how to relate to a student’s needs by combining all the contexts in a way the student can relate to easily.

This tool gives you the power of the entire english language, as stories, or fairy tales, or the student personal experiences or whatever you can come up with to help teach music. It lets you reach out to the student in a more personal way. The goal is to help teach everyone in a way that works best for that student.

This tool lets you combine something common,

the jingle, (that relates the major scale with counting, position of note, a word, and a description of the word)
+
a personally meaningful idea to the student (which is something you, the instructor must determine by getting to know your students)

and lets you use the entire spectrum of language (along with your imagination) to bridge language as the communication of ideas with music adapted to the individual learning style of the student.

I was volunteering for supporting healthcare reform today when I ran across the following question. I do not include the person’s name or information as I have yet to ask for permission to disclose such

The question asked was:

Is it appropriate to create a 501 (c) 3 to collect funds for your own childrens’ healthcare? (They need behavioral treatment for autism, which few if any insurers cover in my state.)

I of course, felt obligated to describe my efforts towards doing precisely this.

I think there are quite a few people who would agree, sitting out here at the Organizing for Obama Health Care table. Children’s health is the most important thing in the the world; after all we are talking about who will have to fix our mess after we are gone. Kids are the most valuable and precious of anything and should – it would seem – receive the highest and most immediate priority.

Please read the link. I believe it addresses both your personal situation and your goals to continue the process. This is not a fantasy, it is a real and tangible goal of mine.

I have determined that what is described in the link is legitimate and can be done. As you can see, I have been working to get something like you describe made real since the July 3rd. I am disabled under ADA and while my learning disorder was not diagnosed until a few years ago I can understand your concerns to some degree.

i know a few 501c3 organizations already existing. I think with some help, support, numbers, connections, resources and so forth, we could do some kind of “joint venture” or what the technical term “fiscal sponsorship” I think.

Addiction to Heroin and other Opiate based drugs are difficult to manage in that they produce both significant degrees of psychological and physical addiction. However, other than the need for the drug, addicts can be highly functional for years and this list include physicians, world leaders, corporate executives, and artists. This article gives several options for managing an existing addiction to opiate drugs in either or both psychological and physical terms.

Steps

1. Understand the real facts behind the drug, and your addiction. These drugs do not get rid of the physical pain in the sense novocaine or similar drugs do. Rather they work by “getting you high” or to reduce the emotional distress of pain. It is easy for those inclined to take to this feeling of euphoria and want to continue in the state.
2. Understand how Physical addiction and tolerance are involved. After a period of regular use (varies but 30 days might be a good starting point) it becomes noticeable that more is needed to produce the same effect and eventually the effect is gone. By that time physical addiction has most likely taken hold. The human body gets used to regular usage of a drug and when the drug is withheld for a time; physical addiction symptoms start to become noticeable. This is the the “dope sick” stage.
3. Think about your choices. The physical addiction of opiate drugs is very unpleasant and takes a long time (week at least) to recover from. Few willingly undergo the experience of cold-turkey detox. However, given that an addict has regular access to his drugs, he can be highly functional in the workplace or home. This is the philosophy behind maintenance or giving the drug by prescription to maintain that state of no withdrawal symptoms. Methadone and Buprenorphine in pill form are most widely used for maintenance and the Burprenorphine has been a fairly recent addition.
4. Consider the option of complete detoxification from the addiction altogether. Recent developments in Buprenorphine make this option a far less unpleasant experience than ever before. This if used properly can produce a tolerable detox within a week. This works best in a trained detox facility where the Buprenex is given sublingually several times a day in ever decreasing doses and supplemented by some sleeping and anti-anxiety medication. Various OTC meds are given for stomach and other symptoms. The reason for making this choice can be put in light of the following situation: given you have a high tolerance to such drugs, a legitimate medical situation calling for their prescribing will likely be less than effective since you have a tolerance. When detoxified for a period of several months, this tolerance goes away and standard dental prescriptions will again have an effect on you. Doctors and Hospitals tend not to increase the dose just because one is an addict. Therefore the real choice seems to be whether you want those pain meds to work when there is real need or not.
5. Compare the choices of maintenance or complete detox. Maintenance in the form of Methadone or Buprenorphine can be obtained at various health clinics public and private. Detox by Buprenex should only be performed in an inpatient setting as vital signs are monitored constantly.
6. Understand what the aftermath may hold before deciding. What happens after the 5 day Buprenex detox? Well, you probably will have trouble sleeping for the next 4 weeks, and you won’t have a great deal of energy. Forcing oneself to exercise along with joining a 12 step support program are very helpful in this period.
7. Consider Staying Clean. You went through all that and hopefully it was enough motive to stay clean. Furthermore A 12 step support program is the only proven method to help former addicts stay clean. This does not imply a “walk in the park” It requires a lot of hard work and self examination. Yet, the end result if done correctly could be the best life you have ever had.
8. Reread the previous steps and think about it, gather more information, and when you are ready, contact a medical professional.

Tips

• there are usually free detox programs available and such are often difficult to locate.
• if you have insurance, your best bet is to do a 30 day inpatient detox program
• If not, consult local health clinics and hospitals for advice. It may be useful to call the local AA or NA office for help.

That is about the most popular thing I can think of that would sell, is a collaborative effort, and is an equalizer of status that is based on really basic ideas. Everyone is all inclusive from the CEO down.

If there is a better reason to work together in terms of collective interest – figuring out how to deal with dull tasks must still be up there in the same ranks. And the solution is one of many market commodities that generate revenue and pays everyone.

Getting jobs for your relatives, friends, children is motive to expand and withstand the test of time.

Really just (1) and (2) can define the rest of the organization as your US for profit corporate structure with intent to make a profit. So what if it’s a bit odd, it makes sense from a HR and business model.

Taking time to do this task is a distraction from whatever you were doing, and this is a motive for everyone to work together and find some solution fast: so they can go back to doing their main gig. This would seem to be an ideal motivating force and also is promotes equality without changing the political system (as that gets messy).

The reason for publiish all this is US tax code section 351, Incorporating a business tax free under the requirement that the owners pre-inforportation own 80% post incorporation.

And so before we do incorporate, what else should be taken into consideration.

This is not some idealistic notion for Platonic Space. I’m way to lazy to do that. This is the new mission statement for a real business; and will be ithe fundamental post-incorporation item that all else can derive from.

As a jazz musician, I am not conerned with other details. It’s simply applying impovisation in music to other areas. Making something work with what is lying around is a given and I just do it when then need arises. Nothing much to be concerned over much less lose sleep.

Having taken this step, I guess step two is get a legal team which can find a way to hire itself.

With a some help from, oh income tax refund on overpaid estate taxes past the Statute of Limitations.

I have a completely legitate reason (I even spoke with the IRS). I can prove it with records some of which are archived but yet exist. Say on half a million estate dollars total. Whatever the overpaid amount if the fact it was used to operate a business was not a factor known by the filer and detailed medical records exist to make a decent, not certain case.

The legal team should take this maybe and turn it into definite in a way that would promote a swift refund given the current state of things; and hire themselves from it and run with it anywhere. The more naive and idealistic the better. IMHO.

I was thinking having all the paperwork to hire not just themselves but the entire rest of the initial corporation done in advance and make it a sincere “when the refund is given, that moment, these people will be hired with benefits; here’s the paperwork. And that way the paperwork can get filed ahead of time so when the refund comes – simply tell everyone they can start.

Inherent in the notion:: if this task exists in the corporation then it likely is everywhere. By solving this, there is probably a market for it in the form of a product or service somewhere; and simply by handling this issue results in a probable market commodity.

INTENT to make a profit is summed up by 1 and 2.

If you really need more:
a. motivation
b. loyalty
c. teamwork
d. I believe – finding a way to take some menial task and either automate it or make it interesting to someone is sufficient as defining products and services without itemizing.

Take a dull task no one wants to do; turn it into a shared responsibility for all to take turns until it can be automated and made interesting. Whatever form of product or service this takes it is pretty simple that there is demand if no one wants to do it. And thus you have a revenue source which results from the team effort of getting rid of a task no one wants to do. That is about the most popular thing I can think of that would sell, is a collaborative effort, and is an equalizer of status that is based on really basic ideas. Everyone is all inclusive from the CEO down.

If there is a better reason to work together in terms of collective interest – figuring out how to deal with dull tasks must still be up there in the same ranks. And the solution is one of many market commodities that generate revenue and pays everyone.

Getting jobs for your relatives, friends, children is motive to expand and withstand the test of time.

Really just (1) and (2) can define the rest of the organization as your US for profit corporate structure with intent to make a profit. So what if it’s a bit odd, it makes sense from a HR and business model.

Taking time to do this task is a distraction from whatever you were doing, and this is a motive for everyone to work together and find some solution fast: so they can go back to doing their main gig. This would seem to be an ideal motivating force and also is promotes equality without changing the political system (as that gets messy).

The reason for publiish all this is US tax code section 351, Incorporating a business tax free under the requirement that the owners pre-inforportation own 80% post incorporation.

And so before we do incorporate, what else should be taken into consideration.

This is not some idealistic notion for Platonic Space. I’m way to lazy to do that. This is the new mission statement for a real business; and will be ithe fundamental post-incorporation item that all else can derive from.

As a jazz musician, I am not conerned with other details. It’s simply applying impovisation in music to other areas. Making something work with what is lying around is a given and I just do it when then need arises. Nothing much to be concerned over much less lose sleep.

Having taken this step, I guess step two is get a legal team which can find a way to hire itself.

With a some help from, oh income tax refund on overpaid estate taxes past the Statute of Limitations.

I have a completely legitate reason (I even spoke with the IRS). I can prove it with records some of which are archived but yet exist. Say on half a million estate dollars total. Whatever the overpaid amount if the fact it was used to operate a business was not a factor known by the filer and detailed medical records exist to make a decent, not certain case.

The legal team should take this maybe and turn it into definite in a way that would promote a swift refund given the current state of things; and hire themselves from it and run with it anywhere. The more naive and idealistic the better. IMHO.

I was thinking having all the paperwork to hire not just themselves but the entire rest of the initial corporation done in advance and make it a sincere “when the refund is given, that moment, these people will be hired with benefits; here’s the paperwork. And that way the paperwork can get filed ahead of time so when the refund comes – simply tell everyone they can start.

We can call this the 501c3 associated for profit corp until a better term (which I don’t think would be difficult) gets consensus.

An ideal situation would be to get a legal department going with a bunch of idealists and give a head start by moving “ridiculous idealisic notion” a few big steps to “hey that might work, and I want it to work and I’ll help make it work”.

Well, I tried to have as much of that sitting around waiting for you as I could.
